We loved having more peonies, lilies, sunflowers, glads and other blossoms for your bouquets this year, as well as 100+ varieties of hardy perennials for your Adirondack gardens (the 2009 plant list is available; the 2010 list will be ready in May).   New this year...we offered veggie starts and fruit plants!  We sold out early on these veggies grown from organic seed...tomatoes, peppers, cukes, melons and more.  Maybe next year you'll be ready to dig a little patch and grow a few of your own fresh fruits and veggies.

Thank you for your interest and support at the Glens Falls Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, and the wonderful response to our brand NEW North Creek Farmers' Market on Thursday evenings (down by the railroad and river, 4pm - 7pm).

We encourage you to sign up early for cut flower subscriptions each year -- we often reach our limit before the season begins.  However, if you are interested in a bouquet or bucket full of blooms at any time during the season, we are delighted to cut them for you (and arrange if you like).  And we hope you will sign up for our Stork Road Farm & Garden Newsletter so we can stay in touch and let you know about upcoming specials! A Bit About the Farm...

    We moved to North Creek in 1987 and after several years of preparation (and other day jobs) we started STORK ROAD FARM in 1997 .  Our aim is to provide a local source for Adirondack-hardy field and pot grown perennials,  fresh cut garden flowers, and floral design.  We design and install a limited number of perennial gardens each season for homes, summer cottages and small business properties in the area.

   We enjoy arranging flowers for weddings, parties and other events...all year long.  Arranging flowers for weddings -- helping to make a bride's day a wonderful memory --  holds a special passion for me...from the months of planning to actually arranging beautiful flowers to suit each unique occasion.  And the same goes for parties and other events.  We just love working with flowers...there's no other explanation!

    So, if you need flowers for a wedding or event, or want to treat yourself or a friend to an overflowing bucket full of flowers during the summer -- call us.  If you need perennials for your garden -- contact us.  If you need a hostess or holiday gift, Adirondack Mountain Munchies (in zip baggies, mason jars (with or without handles), and decorative tins) make a perfect and tasty one -- give us a call.   Of course, contacting us with questions via email works too!
